ACCURATE HOME INSPECTIONS
What is a home inspection?
A home inspection is a report prepared by a trained home inspector on the condition of
the visible portions of the primary buildings; informing the client of any major
deficiencies as they exist at the time of the inspection. The report is an unbiased opinion
of an experienced inspector.
What is included in the inspection?
Our home inspection covers the major structural and mechanical systems of the house.
This includes the plumbing and electrical system, heating and air conditioning system,
foundation, roof, attic, interior walls, ceilings doors and windows. All items must be
visible (not blocked or locked). All inspections are performed to the standards of
practice required by the National Association of Home Inspectors (NAHI). Inspection
report also includes items that may be at or nearing their life expectancy.
Why do I need a home inspection?
To make an informative decision on one of the largest purchases you may ever make!
It is important to understand the condition of your investment and any potential health
risks or hazards that may exist at the time of the inspection.
Do I need to be at the inspection?
You are welcome to be there during the inspection however we prefer you come
towards the end. It’s important not to distract the inspector during the inspection. We
want to perform the best possible inspection for our clients as we can. We will perform
a final walkthrough at the end of the inspection to inform the client of any issues or
concerns discovered during the inspection.
How much does the inspection cost?
The cost of the inspection is based on the square footage of the home and overall
location (there may be an additional cost for travel time and fuel if outside the service
area). Call for a quote!
How long will the inspection take?
The average inspection takes between three-four hours. Additional time may be
required depending on the condition of the home. Our reports contain over 400
inspection points and are considered to be one of the more thorough and accurate
reports in the business.
